Hailing from Chelmsford, MAGIC SEAS are brothers James and John Prudence. The duo's debut album 'Paint The Waves' takes a big step into their shimmering dream-pop sound, which was co-produced and mixed by Ride frontman Mark Gardener during ongoing recording sessions at his OX4 Sound studio in Oxford.

Taking influence from the likes of Gene Clark, Felt, Echo And The Bunnymen and Debussy - the album follows the National Album Day endorsed Split 12" EP release with The Cult Of Free Love, which saw both bands play packed instore gigs at HMV and Flashback Records in support of the record.

With previous stand-alone singles having been championed by the likes of BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio, Spain’s Toxicosmos, France’s RKC Radio and now receiving regional airplay in America, ‘This Time’ will be released as the first single from the album on Friday 16th September.
